Overview

Fungal Diversity (ISSN 1560-2745) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research across all major disciplines of mycology. The journal places particular emphasis on fungal biodiversity, taxonomy, systematics, evolution, and molecular phylogeny, providing a global forum for advancing fundamental and integrative fungal research. The journal publishes original research articles, comprehensive review papers, monographs, and special issues that address both classical and contemporary questions in fungal biology. Fungal Diversity is the official journal of the Kunming Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and maintains a strong international profile with contributions from researchers worldwide. All articles are published Online First and are immediately citable via a permanent Digital Object Identifier (DOI). The online publication constitutes the Version of Record, in accordance with NISO RP-8-2008 standards. Once published online, any post-publication amendments are made through formal Errata to ensure the integrity and permanence of the scientific record.
