APC rates, waivers, discounts, and payment information.Overview
Fungal Diversity is an open-access journal supported by article processing charges (APCs). The fee covers editorial management and coordination of peer review, copyediting, typesetting, online hosting, long-term archiving, and journal operations.
APCs ensure that all published content is freely available to readers worldwide without subscription barriers.
APC Rate
The APC for all accepted articles is $3,200 USD / EUR 2,800, plus VAT or applicable local taxes.
- Charges apply only to accepted papers.
- Authors are responsible for APC payment once their article is formally accepted for publication.
- Brief Communication, Data, and Perspective articles are discounted to $1,600 USD / EUR 1,400.
- Editorial articles are waived.
Waivers and Discounts
- Full APC waivers are available for corresponding authors based in Least Developed Countries listed by the United Nations.
- Full or partial waivers for authors facing financial hardship are considered case by case.
Waiver or discount requests must be submitted at the time of article submission. Editorial evaluation and acceptance are entirely independent of the author's ability to pay the APC.
Payment
Accepted means of payment are wire transfer in US Dollars (USD) or Euro (EUR). Online payment by credit card is not accepted until further notice.
