PhytoMycology  is an open-access journal supported by article processing charges (APCs). APCs ensure that all published content is freely available to readers worldwide without subscription barriers.

APC Rate

The APC for all accepted articles is $1500 USD (plus VAT or applicable local taxes).

● Charges apply only to accepted papers.
● Authors are responsible for the APC payment once their article is formally accepted for publication.

Waivers and Discounts

● PhytoMycology  will offer full APC waivers for all articles accepted before June 2026.
● Starting July 2026, the journal will provide:
● Full APC waivers for corresponding authors based in Least Developed Countries (see the UN list).
● Full or partial waivers for authors facing financial hardship, considered on a case-by-case basis.

Waiver or discount requests must be submitted at the time of article submission. The editorial evaluation and acceptance of your manuscript are entirely independent of your ability to pay the APC.
